The name, Pret Gourmet, originated from a love of all things French. Owner, Monique Frey, speaks fluent French and studied abroad. The word “pret” means ready in French and is used in popular phrases like “ready to wear” and “ready to eat.” So, Pret Gourmet seemed the perfect fit for a full-service, gourmet catering company with a flair for creative, high-quality food.
And the food, of course, is the highlight of any party. It brings people together to celebrate, laugh, applaud, or grieve. Pret Gourmet takes the worry off your plate, so you can enjoy the food and your guests. We hand-select everything, ensuring you get the freshest and best quality food.
